Due to popular demand. we are delighted to welcome back Jayne Dummer of Core Healthy with a wonderful, 'all-day' Yoga and Plant Based Wellness Day Retreat. This retreat aims to bring balance and calm back into hectic lives with Yoga and healthy food, offering a fantastic opportunity to reset and refuel the body and mind. Jayne has been practicing yoga and teaching Yoga, Pilates and nutrition for nearly ten years in her studio in Sutton. She has over 700hrs of training specialising in injury prevention. Jayne believes in the importance of understanding the mechanics and functioning of the body to maximise health, performance and happiness. After morning coffee / herbal teas and welcome, we'll start the day with a dynamic yoga flow. No experience required. This vinyasa style, functional flow will warm you up and get you ready for the day. We'll have a restorative snack ready for you then before your start into a 90-minute 'hands-on' plant based cooking workshop led by our experienced Howth Castle Cookery tutors. You’ll learn new cooking skills and recipes to expand your plant based recipe bank and get to put together some healthy, nutritious and tasty plates of food. After lunch, Jayne will lead a plant based nutrition talk and you’ll then have a little rest to chat and to take in the grounds of Howth Castle Estate and its beautiful walks. We'll close the day together with a restorative yin yoga flow including an extended relaxation and meditation in the castle's candlelit library. This day is designed to suit mixed levels and experience. It is not suitable for anyone with a significant injury. We would be delighted to chat with you further if you are unsure.
