This month we packed up the castle kitchen and headed off to Flavours of Fingal, joining the Fingal Food Circle to celebrate the very best of local food and drink.
You'll find us at our best when we're surrounded by good producers and good ingredients, and the Fingal Food Village marquee delivered both in abundance. Our team spent the day meeting visitors, talking all things food, and sharing a little of what we get up to at the cookery school.
The highlight? Our own chef Lorraine, who took to the demo stage with TV favourite Simon Delaney for a sizzling cooking demonstration, showing just how much you can do with brilliant local produce and a bit of know-how.
It was a great day out and a lovely reminder of how much talent there is on our doorstep here in Fingal. Huge thanks to the Fingal Food Circle for having us, and to everyone who stopped by for a chat and a taste.
