Summer is in full swing at the Cookery School, and our daytime programme is busier than ever. From boat trips that end at the stove to hands-on baking workshops and a full line-up of classes for parents and Tweens, you’re guaranteed to make summer memories you’ll treasure. Through July, August and September, Howth Castle Cookery School is running cookery classes in the mornings and afternoons, as well as evening classes.

This is one of our most popular classes, and it books out fast. Starting with a boat trip to fish for the freshest catch, you'll learn how to catch, handle, prepare and cook fish with skill and confidence. This class includes many of the fundamentals of quick Japanese cooking – learn how to make some of the best street classics instead of calling for take away! This class teaches you the basics of making a great tempura, wholesome noodle ramen and a Katsu Curry. You'll be able to box up your creations to take-away and enjoy at home. A true taste of coastal Ireland. Learn to make a rich, warming seafood chowder using the freshest local catch, paired with the iconic combination of treacle and Guinness brown bread.
